AK Party MP from Kayseri Pelin Gündeş Bakır, shared via Twitter that in her party’s camp in Kızılcıhaman in 2011, she had expressed her thoughts regarding a likely military coup in Egypt. While reminding her reaction to this, she added “A group of 15 people laughed at me. I am sorry to have been proven right. For some reason, a woman with coloured eyes is not being taken seriously when she says there is a risk of a military coup in Egypt. To be taken seriously, I immediately have to grow beards.”
