Minister for Europen Union and chief negotiator Egemen Bağış said that the resolution taken by European Parliament about the Gezi Park Protests has no sanction power.
Bağış commented about the resolution, “We evaluated this as the manifestation of European Parliament members using their rights to talk nonsense to full extent.”, and said that the messages that should be taken from Turkey's declaration are received by its audience.
Bağış who reminded of a declaration by British PM David Cameron, commented on it as "If some people feel inferior because of our Prime Minister being one of the most powerful and charismatic leader of Europe, this is their own problem". But like PM Cameron there are those who appreciate and express this, we have to respect them too.
