Yesterday, Police shot down a toy helicopter recording Gezi Resistance and Police attacks from air. Owner of the toy helicopter explained how the event happened on his declaration to Bianet:
"With a friend of mine, we were sitting in a cafe near AKM and recording video with our toy helicopters. Polices on the location were also sitting and chatting but also watching us with interested eyes. While the helicopter was flying over the polices on the square, they fired to it with rubber bullets and shot it down. When we went to recover the destroyed helicopter police asked us “Are you a spy? Who are you? Are you from press? Show us your press id.” and then yelled “take those to the back of AKM”. They hit my friend a few times and released him after making GBT (General Information Request) computer check. They confiscated his gas mask. Helicopter and camera fell into pieces.”
